Having Plenty of Vitamin C Reduces Your Risk of Stroke, Studies Say

Fruit with Vitamin C

(from Medical News Today) In a brand new study to be shown in the American Academy of Neurology’s 66th Annual Meeting, investigators found that consuming foods including that delicious vitamin C could reduce one’s danger of getting a hemorrhagic stroke.

What specifically was discovered was that, typically, people who had experienced a stroke had depleted levels of vitamin C. On the flip side people within the study who hadn’t experienced a stroke had ordinary vitamin C ranges.

According to this study, having foods that have this much-needed vitamin is an excellent approach to keep up your general well-being and lessen your chance of a stroke. Some meals rich in vitamin-c contain bell peppers, guavas, chili peppers, thyme, parsley, strawberries, oranges, broccoli, and also dark leafy greens like kale.
